Brooke and Dakotah’s Lake Louise sunrise session was such a special way to celebrate this season of being newly married.

They had recently tied the knot and planned a trip to Banff and the Rockies to soak it all in together. We met at sunrise, when Lake Louise was calm and quiet, and watched as the first light touched Victoria Glacier and brought that iconic turquoise to life.

There’s something so meaningful about documenting this in-between chapter. The wedding day may be over, but the excitement, tenderness, and just-married glow are still so present. From soft moments along the shoreline to joyful laughter on the rocks, their session felt relaxed, romantic, and completely them.

What a beautiful way to mark the beginning of married life in the mountains.
