Lake Minnewanka is easily one of our favourite locations in Banff. It has a wide range of stunning mountains alongside its beautiful lake and perfect treescapes. The one downside of Lake Minnewanka is that it’s not a very well kept secret! And in order to avoid crowds, we always recommend starting early — which is why we almost always recommend sunrise sessions when shooting here! Which is exactly what we did with Avery and James this past June.
