Hayley and Joseph reached out to us just a few weeks before their trip to Banff. They had recently gotten engaged and wanted to celebrate the occasion with an engagement session in the mountains. We absolutely love these types of sessions and feel so fortunate to be part of such a special moment in a couple’s life.

We kicked off the session early in the morning, before the sun had risen over the nearby peaks. The stillness of the water behind them, combined with the soft glow of the early morning light, set the perfect scene. As the sun slowly crested the mountains, we were able to capture its stunning glow, creating some truly magical moments. (Scroll to the end for more examples of this breathtaking light!)

It was an incredible experience capturing the love and joy between Hayley and Joseph against the backdrop of the majestic Banff mountains. Their connection, paired with the natural beauty of the location, made for a session we’ll never forget.
