Alli and Samarth’s sunrise elopement at Bow Lake was intimate, intentional, and deeply meaningful. With only Alli’s mom, brother, and their two dogs present, they exchanged vows along the quiet lakeshore as the first light of day spilled across the surrounding mountains. The stillness of the morning made the moment feel incredibly powerful and perfectly aligned with the kind of wedding they had envisioned.
After their ceremony, we traveled to Peyto Lake for portraits framed by sweeping alpine views. The dramatic landscape created space for both playful and tender moments, capturing the ease and depth of their connection against the vast beauty of the Rockies.
The celebration continued with a campground brunch that Alli and Samarth had thoughtfully prepared themselves. Their menu blended American classics like s’mores and a homemade wedding cake with Indian favorites such as pani puri. In a meaningful nod to their recent wedding in India, they also incorporated accessories from their travels, along with photos of Alli’s late father and Samarth’s parents, who live in India.
Every detail of the day felt intentional and heartfelt, creating a celebration that honored their story while embracing the wild beauty of the Canadian Rockies.
