Carlie & Bryce reached out to us about shooting their summer wedding near Victoria BC, and we were immediately excited. Although we are based in Calgary (and Banff), we also love to jump at the opportunity to shoot weddings out of town. As amazing and lucky we are to shoot locally in all of the beautiful places nearby, there is also something really cool about experiencing a new location through a wedding.

And Carlie & Bryce’s wedding day did not disappoint! Located in West Saaanich, they were married on Bryce’s family property, and we loved all the special touches to their day (including a stunning first dance on their dock).

Carlie & Bryce chose to do private vows after their ceremony for an extra touch of intimacy during their day.

After some sunset photos, Carlie & Bryce headed to the dock to celebrate their first dance as the sun continued to set in the background.

And finally, they ate some cake and danced the night away!
