Moraine Lake is world renowned as one of the most beautiful backdrops in the world. And we felt so lucky to shoot Daniella and Connor in this stunning spot this past August.

In order to secure a parking spot in Moraine Lake, we arrived more than 30 minutes before the sun started to rise. And as it did, the red smokey haze took over the sky, casting the mountains with a redish-pink hue.

And although the sun stayed tucked behind clouds for most of the morning, right before leaving our sessions the sun finally came out. Scroll to the end to see some of our favourite shots as the sun finally broke through!
