Lake Louise in the fall is nothing short of breathtaking—crisp mountain air, golden foliage, and the vibrant turquoise lake creating the perfect backdrop. This past autumn, we had the pleasure of photographing Shannon and her beautiful family—her husband and their three children—amidst this stunning scenery.

Family sessions in the mountains always feel so special. There’s something about being surrounded by nature that brings out the most genuine moments—kids running along the shoreline, parents sharing a quiet embrace, and all the little in-between moments that make a family session truly meaningful.

Visiting from Ontario, Shannon’s family fully embraced everything Banff had to offer—the beauty, the adventure, and even the cool fall air. The kids had fun exploring, and we captured so many sweet, candid moments between them. It was a session filled with laughter, warmth, and the kind of love that makes our job so rewarding.
