Amanda & Morgan picked the perfect August night for their engagement photos at Barrier Lake this past summer. And even as the wind blew Amanda’s skirt (and hair) we had the best time walking through the sand and enjoying the views with them.

Barrier Lake is a short 60-minute drive from Calgary, and the perfect way to get mountain views without driving all the way into Canmore or Banff. And with the sun setting right over the mountains as we photographed their night, you couldn’t ask for a better backdrop.
